CPC fuel distribution
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has begun issuing fuel from today based on the last digit of the vehicle number plate.
Accordingly, fuel will not be issued based on the QR system from the 21st to the 25th of July.
The QR code provided under the National Fuel Pass system will be operational only after the 25th of July.
The CPC said fuel will be supplied as per the following number plate last digit system:
Tuesday & Saturday : 0,1,2
Thursday & Sunday : 3, 4, 5
Monday, Wednesday, & Friday : 6,7,8,9
The CPC further said restrictions have been imposed on fuel supply for vehicles. The fuel supply restrictions are :
Motorcycles : Rs. 1500
Three-wheelers : Rs. 2000
Other vehicles : Rs. 7000
The CPC hopes to implement the QR code system next week and until that fuel will be only issued strictly under the number plate system.
Sri Lanka currently reports a total of 7.5 million vehicles being operational according to CPC.
Out of this, 4.2 million are motorcycles, 1.1 million are three-wheelers, and 877,341 are cars.
Approximately 03 million people are reported to have registered for the National Fuel Pass and have obtained QR codes as of yesterday
ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාව (CPC) වාහන අංක තහඩුවේ අවසන් අංකයට අනුව ඉන්ධන නිකුත් කිරීම අද සිට ආරම්භ කර තිබේ.
ඒ අනුව ජූලි 21 වැනිදා සිට 25 වැනිදා දක්වා QR ක්‍රමයට අනුව ඉන්ධන නිකුත් නොකෙරේ.
ජාතික ඉන්ධන බලපත්‍ර ක්‍රමය යටතේ ලබා දී ඇති QR කේතය ක්‍රියාත්මක වන්නේ ජූලි 25 වැනිදායින් පසුවය.
පහත සඳහන් අංක තහඩු අවසන් ඉලක්කම් පද්ධතියට අනුව ඉන්ධන සපයනු ලබන බව CPC පවසයි.
අඟහරුවාදා සහ සෙනසුරාදා : 0,1,2
බ්රහස්පතින්දා සහ ඉරිදා: 3, 4, 5
සඳුදා, බදාදා සහ සිකුරාදා : 6,7,8,9
වාහන සඳහා ඉන්ධන සැපයීමට සීමා පනවා ඇති බව CPC වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කළේය. ඉන්ධන සැපයුම් සීමාවන් වන්නේ:
යතුරුපැදි: රු. 1500
ත්‍රිරෝද රථ: රු. 2000
වෙනත් වාහන: රු. 7000
QR කේත ක්‍රමය ලබන සතියේ ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට CPC බලාපොරොත්තු වන අතර, එතෙක් ඉන්ධන නිකුත් කිරීම දැඩි ලෙස අංක තහඩු ක්‍රමය යටතේ පමණක් සිදුකිරීමට නියමිතය.
ලංකා ඛනිජ තෙල් නීතිගත සංස්ථාවට අනුව දැනට වාහන මිලියන 7.5 ක් ක්‍රියාත්මක වන බව ශ්‍රී ලංකාව වාර්තා කරයි.
මෙයින් මිලියන 4.2 ක් යතුරුපැදි, මිලියන 1.1 ත්‍රිරෝද රථ සහ 877,341 මෝටර් රථ වේ.
ඊයේ වන විට දළ වශයෙන් මිලියන 03 ක ජනතාවක් ජාතික ඉන්ධන බලපත්‍රය සඳහා ලියාපදිංචි වී QR කේත ලබාගෙන ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.
