Duties and Responsibilities
As a graphic designer, you must:

meet with clients or account managers to discuss business objectives and job requirements estimate the time required to complete a job and provide quotes to clients

Think creatively to generate new ideas and concepts and to create an interactive design.

find creative ways to reinterpret a design brief within time and budget constraints
finalize ideas and concepts and present them to clients or account managers
use a variety of media, including computer-aided design (CAD)

Qualifications

Visual arts subjects are particularly relevant for graphic design work. A degree or HND in the following subjects, in particular, may improve your chances:

3D design, communication design, film and television fine art, graphic design, illustration, photography, and visual art are all examples of 3D design.
Any design-related course will provide you with a solid foundation in design, art history, and printing techniques.
