SriLankan Airlines is the flag carrier airline of Sri Lanka, headquartered in Colombo. It was founded in 1979 as Air Lanka and was later rebranded as SriLankan Airlines in 1998. The airline operates flights to various destinations in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, including cities such as London, Dubai, Mumbai, Bangkok, and Singapore.
SriLankan Airlines is a member of the Oneworld airline alliance, and it has codeshare agreements with several other airlines, including Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Malaysia Airlines. The airline operates a fleet of Airbus A320, A321neo, A330-200, and A330-300 aircraft.
In addition to passenger flights, SriLankan Airlines also operates cargo services, and it has a subsidiary company called SriLankan Catering that provides in-flight catering services to the airline and other airlines at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo.
